Your Sussex Wedding - December/January 2024/2025 (Issue 112)

Our magician friend George Horlock entertained us with his magic throughout the evening. Our wedding package included the fabulous Toastmaster Dan. He was brilliant throughout and his sentimental toast at the end of the speeches was a caring touch. He’s just fab. From guest arrival to our first dance, he was there for us. I love candles and confetti, so it was important for us to include these everywhere we could, from the candlelit aisle with petals, to the tables. There was a cosy and romantic atmosphere, which is what we were going for. Our place names doubled up as favours, and the tables were named after places special to us, with a little story on the back of each about our time together there. This way, our guests could learn a little something about us. We enjoyed a beautiful three-course meal for our wedding breakfast, which we were so happy with. We had the goat’s cheese tart to start, followed by a choice of either pork belly (our absolute favourite at Tottington), chicken ballotine, or a vegetarian pasta, with a fabulous festive trio of desserts to finish. Our three-tiered cake featured lemon, carrot, and mango with passionfruit and white chocolate flavours. 43 REAL WEDDINGS
