All weddings have exclusive use of the buildings, terrace, and lawn for the duration of the day. The venue offers complete privacy and the opportunity to create your own special day, and you’re encouraged to make imaginative use of the spaces available. There have been an extraordinary variety of reception layouts, flowers, and themes here. The Grade I listed Jacobean manor house, rich in charming period features boasts 17th- and 18th-century interiors. Dating back to 1617, it was the family home of the Frewen family for over 300 years. Conveniently located in the beautiful Wealden countryside Brickwall House is close to Hastings, Ashford and Tunbridge Wells as well as the smaller historical towns of Rye, Battle and Tenterden. The gardens are a real treasure. The site features the oldest walled gardens in Sussex and includes an arboretum and the Lady Frewen bluebell walk.
