Your Sussex Wedding - August/September 2023 (Issue 104)

We created our own table plan using a second-hand mirror, which I wrote on. Instead of favours I made children’s activity boxes, which included games and colouring packs. We thought that as long as the kids were happy, their parents would be happy! Our centrepieces were flower arrangements put together by our venue in tall vases, including a beautiful mix of white peonies, roses and daisies with eucalyptus. Alice Flower sang for us throughout the day including during the ceremony as I walked down the aisle, as we signed the register, and as we exited. She then performed all afternoon until we went inside for our wedding breakfast. She was absolutely sensational and everyone commented on how beautiful the music was. It gave a lovely atmosphere to the afternoon. One of our friends offered to make our wedding cake as a gift, as she used to be a pastry chef. It was a three-tier vanilla sponge with fresh cream, jam and fresh fruit. It was delicious! My bridesmaids wore the Keeva Maxi Bridesmaid dress from Silk Fred in nude. REAL WEDDINGS 45
