Behind the top table, we had the quote, ‘No measure of time with you will be long enough, but we’ll start with forever’. Our cake was a minimalistic vintage design from Lisa’s Party Cakes. Our guests were well fed as we had a pizza party the night before the wedding, breakfast the morning of, canapés, a wedding breakfast and a build your own burger buffet in the evening. We decorated the tables with a mixture of low and high florals. For the place names, we gave our guests vintage Polaroids of themselves with Cory or I. They ranged from baby photos all the way to the present day, representing our relationship with each guest. Our flowers, provided by The Witching Flower, were a mixture of white and blue blooms with a hint of greenery. Gellifawr Woodland Retreat was so different from everything else we’d viewed. It was out of the way, big enough to accommodate our friends and family for two nights and the staff were incredible. 36
