which tied in with our colour scheme, copper ties and brown shoes. “The bridesmaids opted for a copper satin wrap-style dress from Quiz,” continues the bride. “They accessorised with rose gold block heels and matching heart necklaces.” TIME TO CELEBRATE To keep their guests entertained, Saz and Rob hired a string quartet for the ceremony and drinks reception. “Aderyn String Quartet played a range of music, from current pop to classics,” says Saz. “I walked down the aisle to the Jurassic Park theme! We also hired Revelry Disco, who provided a DJ in the evening and a silent disco after the first dance. We had a lot of compliments about how different this was, as quite a few of our guests had never experienced a silent disco. “We put a Mr and Mrs crossword on the tables at the wedding breakfast and a QR code with a list of photos to take and upload to an app,” continues the bride. “We had a lot of photos uploaded by our guests, which were lovely to look at after the wedding.” MEMORABLE MOMENTS “We were both very nervous but excited on the morning of the wedding,” shares Saz. “It was a mixture of emotions for both of us. We didn’t want the day to end, and it felt like it was over too soon. It was a day we will always remember. Our son Caden did a reading during the ceremony, which was lovely as he is usually shy and doesn’t like attention. “It rained the day before the wedding, so we were worried we wouldn’t be able to get married outside, but on the morning the sun was shining, so everything went to plan,” adds the bride. “The whole day felt magical from start to finish, but the cocktail truck and games were really lovely and suited our personalities to a tee! Our best man messed up his speech by calling the father-of-the-groom by the wrong name, which ruined his joke, and one of the bridesmaid’s dress straps broke, so she had to run off and change into a spare dress!” HONEYMOON “Being massive rugby fans, we went to Nantes, France, for five days to watch Wales play in the rugby world cup,” recalls Saz. “The weather was great and the atmosphere was amazing. Wales also won, which added to the atmosphere!” SAZ AND ROB’S TOP TIPS “If you can delegate things to your bridal party, they will be happy to help,” reveals the bride. “Try not to stress; things will go wrong, and you can’t please everyone. But you will get to marry the person you love and that’s all that really matters.” Scan to view video www.breakeverychain.co.uk 31 REAL WEDDINGS
