We chose a four-tiered cake with white detailing. Exquisite Bridal Cars provided our transport for the big day. Our centrepieces were blooms from Just Jenny’s Flowers, which we placed into candelabras provided by Craig Y Nos Castle. For our favours, we gave our guests Welshcakes. I always wanted powder blue to be our main colour scheme. When we moved our original date forward a year, we decided to add nods to the season. We incorporated gold and yellow to represent spring and to add some colour to the wedding. We loved Craig Y Nos Castle; it’s close to where we both live, and as kids, we spent a lot of time visiting the national park. The castle’s setting and spacious rooms made it the ideal venue for our special day. The team at the castle made us feel so special during COVID, and they went above and beyond for us. We originally booked our wedding for 2024 but decided to bring it forward a year as we were able to save more during lockdown. 44
