Q&A Fashion & Beauty Local experts offer advice on how to look your big-day best TREND SETTER What type of bridal make-up is likely to be trending in 2024? Next year, we will be looking at a variety of make-up trends, from bold and rebellious to soft and romantic. There will be a range of popular colours that cater to every style and occasion. Sparkles are going to be the star of the show, bringing a sense of glitz and glamour to your look. Whether it’s a glittery eyeshadow or a shimmery highlight, the aim is to make a statement. Catwalks will be all about fantasy and mythic themes in 2024. On the other hand, the no-make-up look is ideal for enhancing your features in a more natural way. This has been on-trend through 2023, and I believe it will continue. Pastels are perfect for those who want to ooze romance. Whether it’s blush pink or a neutral nude with a little sparkle, the key is to keep it light and fresh. Natural brows, soft lashes, and glowing skin will continue to be popular. You need to balance the natural with the photographic to create definition without wearing your make-up too heavy on the day. That’s a great question that I get asked quite regularly. We can add clipin extensions to help create more thickness in your hair. I normally add padding to the locks too, sometimes with or without any extensions, depending on your hair, as it helps create lots of volume. Padding will help secure the style and make it more comfortable, especially if it’s being worn all day. Straight hair can still create texture as long as the right products are used; these should make the style and curls last all day.
