We had a great buffet for our evening meal, including mini burgers, hot dogs, and kofta kebabs to make sure everyone in our wedding party was catered for. Yosif and I hired a white car from Bijou Wedding Car Hire Cardiff & South Wales, which was decorated with ivory ribbons. Cakes by Nikkie supplied our wedding cake. It was a buttercream drip design decorated in lilac and light blue to match our colour scheme. Our amazing florist, Emma Hall Designs, created artificial arrangements, which we placed in square glass vases. She used all the hues from our colour scheme and lots of foliage. We first saw our reception venue at a wedding fair. We fell in love with the view of the bay and knew they had a good reputation and lots of experience with weddings. After sitting down with the team, we were even more confident with our decision. They were very accommodating of our needs for halal food, answered all of our questions, and had brilliant staff on hand on the day to make everything was as easy and enjoyable as possible for us. I attend St. John’s Church regularly; the priest is always welcoming and made sure our wedding ran smoothly. 46
