I wore a silver dress, which I bought from Coast. I wanted to spend money in other areas of the wedding and also didn’t particularly want a white dress. While I was browsing online, I came across the dress by chance and I just loved it. I sent it to my sister and she said she could imagine my whole day when she saw it! Our photographer, Paul from Twigs Branch Photography, went above and beyond to make sure things were perfect for us and made sure we got the best photos. Our florist, Sarah from Olive Owl Flowers, also did an absolutely incredible job and completely got my vision for our autumnal wedding. My bridesmaids wore gowns from Lá Closet Dé Chánel. Tom chose a navy suit with an orange check from Marc Darcy. We were nervous before the ceremony but relaxed and really happy afterwards. Having the first looks with my dad and grandad, who both walked me down the aisle, was a lovely moment. To keep our guests entertained, we hired a musician who performed while we had drinks after the ceremony and in between the wedding breakfast and evening. We had a DJ for the evening from Dancefloor Couture LTD and a photo booth. My sister and brother-in-law had a small 15-person outdoor wedding due to the pandemic, which meant they weren’t able to have their first dance, so we arranged for our DJ to invite them onto the dancefloor before our first dance and play what would have been their first dance song, so they got to have their first dance. After the wedding, we went to Copenhagen for three nights as a mini-moon and Croatia for 10 days the following June. REAL WEDDINGS 23
