Ben wore a suit by Moss. It was a navy design with gold detailing. He finished the look with a blue shirt, a waistcoat and tan shoes. I remember Ben and I looking around the room at the wedding breakfast and just being in awe of how wonderful everything was. I felt very calm throughout the day. The only time I had to catch my breath was a few seconds before walking down the aisle. Ben felt calm and excited as well. The formality of the day was daunting, but as soon as we were together at the ceremony, everything was perfect. My dress was called Chloé by Enzoani. It was a romantic gown that featured subtle 3D floral details, hand-beaded slim straps, and a full Chantilly ivory lace underlay. The second I saw it, I gasped in the shop; it was breathtaking. I loved the intricate detail and the fact that I hadn’t seen anything quite like it before. For the evening, I changed into a fishtail lace dress, which I accessorised with a pearl belt and heels. We had a violin player for the ceremony and drinks reception. Everyone loved him! He was a fantastic musician and it felt very romantic to have music playing while we all drank champagne. For our honeymoon, we went to Mexico for two weeks. I planned the trip and we had a wonderful time. The food was incredible, the hotel was amazing and it felt like paradise. Our favourite part was swimming with turtles. Our photographer, Matt Herrington, was fantastic and made everyone feel at ease. REAL WEDDINGS 33
