Chef Tom hails from Bashall Eaves, just outside of Clitheroe, and comes from a local farming family. The team explains: “Our wedding and events menus are born from Tom’s experience in banqueting in the French Alps, tailoring menus to guests’ tastes from all over the world. We offer bespoke catering with a personalised approach and work closely with clients to create tailored menus and experiences that suit their specific needs and preferences. We are passionate about using locally sourced ingredients. Prioritising working with local farmers, growers, and producers to obtain the freshest and highest-quality ingredients available in Lancashire. This commitment to local sourcing ensures that the food is not only delicious but also supports the local economy and promotes sustainability. Tom pays meticulous attention to every aspect of the catering experience. He focuses highly on presentation, ensuring that dishes are beautifully arranged and visually appealing, and is dedicated to delivering exceptional service and exceeding client expectations. “Every celebration is different and our menus reflect just that. No matter what you envisage for your event, we will help you create a menu that’s perfect for you and just for you.” THE LOVELY COW SHED 07968 905 607 | www.thelovelycowshed.com The Lovely Cow Shed is an event and catering business run from a family farm. Ann Lupton tells us more about the business: “Our farm produces many of the fine ingredients we use in our tasty dishes. What once started as a delivery business has now developed into a full catering service, providing delicious food for weddings, birthdays, funerals and special celebrations. We also host afternoon teas, workshops and events. “I have been in hospitality for 25 years and recognise that understanding my customers’ needs is essential. My ethos is never to be a mass producer. At each wedding, the families are invited into my workshop at the granary for a get-together so they can meet me, see where I work, taste the food and see what they will want. We offer a bridal breakfast platter or grazing tables, depending on how many people are getting ready, and hot breakfast buns for the gents. We also cater for hen parties with a difference for brides-to-be that don’t want a boozy weekend.”
