Your North West Wedding - December/January 2023/2024 (Issue 83)

We visited Alison Thompson Catering at her home before the wedding. She has a large food truck and a lot of staff for outdoor catering. We decided on a three-course meal, and Alison made sure everything was perfect! The food was amazing, and the staff were kind and efficient, and everyone commented on the food. Our cake was made by a friend and placed on a wooden crate. Our flowers were provided by Teresa from The Flower Cottage. Teresa was very accommodating and helped us choose the perfect blooms and greenery. Emma Jane Events provided a lovely fairylight curtain, an arch, rustic beams above the top table, and a little easel, as well as finishing touches that made the day really personal. Alex and I opted for a rustic theme. We had seen photos of Park House Farms online, and Emma Jane Events had decorated it many times. We wanted lots of fairylights and a lovely, relaxed feel, which Emma Jane Events delivered. We knew we wanted a barn wedding and Park House Farms was perfect. It was the first and only barn we viewed, but we knew it was right for us. When we visited in the winter, it was being used as a working farm, and as my gran said, it took some imagination, but we could see how perfect it would be. 42
