Shaun and I collected ornamental pumpkins in the run-up to the wedding and scattered them around the venue. Our centrepieces were fairylit bottles of bourbon with autumnal flowers placed on logs. For our transport, we hired a campervan from Northumbria Wedding Cars, as we felt it added a nice touch to the day. Our table plan was designed by my sister-in-law, reflecting the time of year in the leaves and colours used. Our wedding cake was made by a wonderful family friend. It was decorated with autumn colours to tie in with our theme. Healey Barn is a rustic venue surrounded by beautiful Northumbrian countryside. It was always my dream to get married in a place surrounded by autumn leaves and the barn complemented our theme perfectly. 40
