We nearly didn’t go for Charlton Hall, thinking another barn would work. Chris said, ‘let’s go just to rule it out’ – and I am so glad we did! The minute we arrived we both got goosebumps, and knew it was the venue for us. Our eight table centerpieces comprised of four tall risers with an array of beautiful roses, dried palm and pampas, with the other four flat to the table, surrounded by disco balls and bright pink candles. We didn’t want traditional favours, so decided on £1 scratch cards, placing them in a personalised white pouch finished with a bright pink bunny tail. My flowers were amazing and everything I had asked for; a mix of roses, orchids, large pampas feathers and bunny tails. Each table was named after a place we’ve visited, which meant guests could see where we’d travelled, both in the UK and abroad. 35 REAL WEDDINGS
