When visiting The Parlour at Blagdon we instantly fell in love! I felt a rush of excitement when I stepped foot in the ceremony room, as I could envision myself getting married there. The centrepieces on the table were jam jars built up from a year’s collection and a lot of flowers supplied by our venue stylist. I made the table plans myself, incorporating photos of our pets on them, as we couldn’t find a design we liked. Our florist was amazing from the get-go. She made the most beautiful bouquet using eucalyptus, lisianthus, gypsophelia, white delphinium, asparagus fern and white roses. Scott’s a joker and likes to wind his friends up, so we picked shots as favours for our guests to do during his speech. Their faces said it all! 38
