I’d then suggest using a wide barrelled tong to create a loose wave, before setting on Velcro rollers while the curls cool. Once these are taken out, apply a texturising spray throughout to add volume and hold without having to backcomb. The hair can then be pulled into a ponytail and secured with a bobble, twisted round on itself to create a bun and pinned into the desired shape. Your hair can then be teased out round the face and from the bun to give a softer finish. A final finishing touch of a lightweight hairspray will ensure it lasts all day. I’d suggest focusing on getting your skin into really good condition first of all, as a great canvas really makes all the difference. The ‘less is more’ look that’s in right now can be achieved by using light to medium coverage foundation that lets your skin show through, adding coverage with concealer only where needed rather than something heavy all over. Think off duty model skin, with a clean girl aesthetic. Adding a subtle wash of eyeshadow in muted rose or earthy tones according to your skin tone is also perfect for this look. Keep it matt for that classic English rose look, or add shimmer to lids for a more fun and flirty vibe. Pair this with a cream or liquid blush to give freshness to your cheeks and a pinky nude lipstick. Don’t forget to fluff up those brows, filling in gaps to enhance your arches. You could even add a slick of black liner across your lash line and add some fluttery individual lashes, too.
