Langley Castle gave us everything we wanted and more. We went for exclusive use, meaning we had the castle to ourselves on the day of the wedding, until the following lunchtime. The minute I saw my Ronald Joyce Celestina dress I knew it was the one. I used to sell wedding dresses as a Saturday job when I was younger, and always knew I wanted something different. Our dog Amber was with us the whole day. Andrew was nervous, so making sure she was OK gave him something to focus on. She even had her own dickie bow tie! The morning of our wedding was really relaxed, with everyone getting ready and drinking Champagne. My best friend Alison and I got our hair and make-up done together, which was really special. We got married outside, as the weather turned out to be amazing. I literally felt like a Princess all day long! I didn’t want to wear a lot of accessorises, as I didn’t want to take anything away from my dress. I did, however, have bright pink sequins shoes! 42
