40 RYAN AND ARICA This couple had been working together for several months when they unexpectedly crossed paths at a bar one Friday night after work. Arica was drawn to Ryan’s intelligence, confidence, and great sense of humour. That meeting was the beginning of their wonderful love story! On Christmas Eve 2022, Ryan proposed at home while Arica searched the wrapping paper for what she believed was ‘one last gift.’ It was a delightful surprise and a moment they’ll always treasure. They knew they wanted a small, intimate day and knew London would be the perfect destination. After some morning showers, they had the perfect afternoon of sunny weather and captured many georgous outdoor photos like this stunning image in Regents Park! CHELSEA AND ALEX This pair met while studying in London when some mutual friends introduced them. They had both heard a lot about each other before their first meeting. Their friends were confident they would connect, and they were spot on—there was instant chemistry! Initially, they envisioned a simple wedding with just a trip to the registry office and a meal afterward. However, as they began jotting down the names of their loved ones, it became clear that they genuinely wanted everyone to join them for a fun celebration. SAM AND JACK Sam, a Canadian, arrived in London for a two-year adventure but received a job offer just before leaving. She found a room in East London through the flatshare app Spareroom, listed by a friendly stranger named Jack. Upon meeting her flatmates at dinner, she was charmed by Jack – the rest became history. Their wedding goal was to design a day that represented them, from the choice of venue to the music selection. They aimed for it to be a celebration that showcased their love and unique style. It was wonderful to see everyone having such a great time! They were fortunate to have 20-degree sunny weather in April, and everyone was savouring an Aperol in the sunshine. JEMIMA AND HASSAN Of course, I couldn’t forget this gorgeous wedding featured in this issue! These lovebirds met on Tinder in July 2020 in that brief Covid window when they were all allowed back outside in the summer. The couple’s main wedding goal was to have fun! They had both experienced a challenging few years leading up to the wedding, compounded by Covid and the lockdowns. They truly wanted their wedding to be a celebration of their relationship. The flowers were the main focus of the couple’s decoration, and the florist, Fika Florals, did not disappoint. The arrangements beautifully tied everything together, featuring lovely shades of pink in the bouquet, on the ceremony table, and the dinner tables. https://lauravieceliphotography.com www.eloiseandmitch.com www.eloiseandmitch.com www.thekensingtonphotographer.co.uk
