Your Kent Wedding - March/April 2025 (Issue 119)

As our guests live all across the country, it was an opportunity to catch up with loved ones, so we didn’t want too much going on and definitely did not want the day to feel too busy or structured. One of my favourite moments was when the amazing Kayrphotos made my dream sparkler photo a reality! We cherish that photo and it will be a forever memory of our day. I had one bridesmaid who chose a pale green satin gown and my daughter wore a white dress as our flowergirl. Aside from those pre-aisle nerves, we both felt so relaxed! I heard too many stories about people hardly seeing their husband on the day, so we made it a priority to spend time together. I also loved getting ready with my mum, daughter and best friend, it’s definitely a core memory for me! I accessorised my A-line gown, which had a deep V-shaped neckline, with a floral hairpiece and my mum’s bracelet. Barry wore a grey suit with a pale pink tie and pocket square. To keep our guests entertained, we had DJ Bob Bird play in the evening, which went down really well. 47 REAL WEDDINGS
