Our centrepieces were candles, wooden confetti and eucalyptus leaves. The leaves matched the green in our colour theme and added to the summery feel that we wanted. Barry is known among our friends as the baker of the family, so he made brownies, which we gave our guests as favours. Our stationery was made by my bridesmaid, who added colours from our theme to the table plan, place names and table names. We loved that The Bull’s Head could cater for the whole day, as a lot of my family were travelling and we didn’t want them to worry about getting from one venue to another. They could also stay overnight at The Bull’s Head, which was a definite plus for us! It was a lovely light space with an outdoor area, which was essential for our summer wedding. The team was so flexible and accommodated any requests we had. To decorate the space, we had fairylights placed around the venue. We chose a cake from Marks and Spencer and we added our own touches, including a topper and eucalyptus leaves. 46
