My dress was a white, lace gown with Victorian-style buttons down the back. To accessorise, I wore pearls in my hair and droplet diamond earrings. Our bridesmaids wore baby blue, long-sleeve dresses with buttons down the front. Keirran opted for a blue suit with a cream waistcoat. To keep our guests entertained, we booked a saxophone player through Mint DJs that everyone loved. We also had a video spinner and mini golf set up. We had canapés after the ceremony, followed by a mezze board for starters, chicken ballotine or mushroom roulade for the main, and then an assortment of lemon curd, apple tart, salad of strawberries or a cheese board for dessert. Our top tip for any couple about to tie the knot is to try to remember why you’re planning the day and not to get lost in the organising of it all. When the day comes, have a moment to look around and take it all in because it is gone in a flash! For our honeymoon, we went to Dubai. We had been before, so we knew we would love it.
