In the evening, we had a DJ provided by our venue to keep our guests entertained. We danced the night away and had a wonderful time. My bridesmaids opted for knee-length dresses in royal blue from Infinity Dress. These were great as they could choose how they wanted to style the top of their dress and we had great fun trying out different styles. We were nervous and relieved once the ceremony was over. Scott and I were incredibly happy to be married and to spend the rest of our lives as husband and wife. The small amount of time after the ceremony, where we just sat and had a cocktail together was wonderful. We also loved taking photos in the grounds; those came out beautifully and we had so much fun taking them. My dress was a tea-length gown called Jolene from WED2B. I chose it because from the second I put it on, I couldn’t stop twirling and smiling, and it had pockets! As a shorter bride, I knew I wanted tea length and this one was perfect for me. I accessorised with a clip-in veil, diamante hairpieces and customised Nike Air Force 1 trainers that were embroidered with our wedding date on the heels. Scott wore a three-piece blue suit from Marks and Spencer along with a white shirt and cufflinks. Our photographer, Ian Bignell Photography, truly went above and beyond. He provided sparklers for a fun sparkler archway with our guests, came up with ideas for fun photos, and just truly made us feel at ease and captured those truly special, once-in-a-lifetime moments. 49 REAL WEDDINGS
