LOOKING YOUR BEST 77 Star of the show How to look your big day best BEAUTY QUEEN To ensure you look your best, the team at Beautification Station (www.facebook.com/beautificationstation.co.uk) shares their make-up predictions for 2025. This year has seen a big increase in soft glam instead of full-on glam make-up looks. Think radiant, dewy skin with the dreamiest of pink or peach tones that aren’t too harsh. Hourglass products are my holy grail for that lit from within look. Natural contouring using cream products that gives features some definition without looking too much is also popular. Cluster lashes are still going to be a big trend, which gives a softer, wispy look rather than a full strip lash. My favourite lashes are from Tatti Lashes. With trends constantly changing and the added pressure of looking your best, we understand how overwhelming the wedding planning process can be. To help make things a bit easier, we’ve rounded up some of the region’s top suppliers and asked for their tips and trend predictions for 2025... NATURAL BEAUTY Make-up artist Kelly Elkin (www.bridalmakeupbykellye.co.uk) shares her trend predictions for 2025. This year, brides have asked for natural make-up with neutral tones on the eyes, like creams and taupe. Clients have also requested a softer brow brushed upwards to give the illusion of fullness. Most want a dewy complexion with highlighted cheeks contouring without looking obvious. Various shades of pink lips have also been requested, which reminds me a lot of 1950s glam. Next year, balletcore looks will be key. Inspired by the delicate looks of a ballerina with very dewy skin, highlighted cheeks, adding pink to the apples and pastel shades on the eyes, such as greens, blues, and rose pinks. To finish, add highlighter to every area that catches the light. I’m loving the collection from Beauty Pie at the moment because their products are so achievable and affordable. www.anakerrphotography.co.uk www.anakerrphotography.co.uk www.anakerrphotography.co.uk
