Your Kent Wedding - November/December 2024 (Issue 117)

Our blooms were supplied by The Flower Company. We wanted neutral colours with plenty of eucalyptus and some dried foliage. The Ferry House has a picture-perfect landscape of wild meadows and natural wetland reserves. The venue is beautiful for an indoor or outdoor ceremony and the barn needed little decoration. We also loved that our loved ones could stay at the venue the night before and of the wedding. Our table plan, which we had printed via Etsy along with our welcome sign, was simple and minimalistic. We also used a ladder provided by The Ferry House that we decorated with photos, tea lights and flowers. We purchased tea lights, sage green frames, flowers and vases to decorate the tables, and The Ferry House provided us with wooden logs for everything to sit on. Our cake was a one-tier salted caramel buttercream design created by The Marble Cakery. We purchased a cake topper, and The Flower Company provided flowers for decoration. We put together most of the décor ourselves. We chose ivory chair drapes, sage napkins and green goblets for the wine. Our favours were homemade fondant biscuits, which I baked myself. We gave our guests sparklers to use in the evening. 36
