Your Kent Wedding - November/December 2023 (Issue 111)

We offered guests a box of sunglasses as it was a blinder of a day, as well as flip flops for their dancing feet. We provided goodie bags for the younger guests and hangover kits for the adults. We also set up a tipi with a whole bundle of toys for the littlest children. Beth had the idea of using individual photos for our place names with a personal message on it for each day guest. Dotty About Paper designed our table plan. We spent a many night arranging names on the back of paper plates! Our three-tier cake was made by Beth’s lovely cousin along with 200 cupcakes. Beth has an incredible eye for detail so other styling features included ladders of love filled with confetti, heart-shaped fans, and happy tears tissues. Our flowers included roses for Beth’s mum and thistles in honour of my Scottish heritage. Our circular centrepieces featured our wedding flowers with candles dotted around them. Favours were memory pins in aid of a Huntington Disease charity, in honour of Beth’s mum. 51 REAL WEDDINGS
