Images courtesy of Jeff Oliver Photography When you talk woodland wedding ideas anything you conjure up will normally involve autumnal hues, pumpkins and turning leaves. So, I wanted to create a shoot full of these textures, but with everything winter. Think cones, bare branches, bark, faux fur, pheasant features and antlers,” explains shoot coordinator Laurie Edwards of Chic Weddings and Events. A decadent tablescape fit for a hearty winter meal was created using a mix of vintage gold velvet tablecloths layered with faux fur, while natural, low floral arrangements in gold-footed bowls ran along the centre with a mass of gold tea lights and candles to bring the warmth and winter glow. And of course, what winter setting would be complete without a dusting of snow and a reindeer? INTO THE woods “ LOCAL SHOOT 53
