The instructions made it easy for everyone to join in, and thankfully, there were no mishaps. In a quieter area, a magic mirror photo booth from Picture That Booth in Poole captured even more fun and memorable moments. Additionally, plenty of games were available inside and outside for everyone to enjoy. MEMORABLE MOMENTS The pair both felt amazing! David was feeling confident to begin with while he had his McDonald’s breakfast, but as soon as he arrived at the venue, he became very nervous. He a little cry when he opened up a gift and note that Corinne sent him via one of the bridal party members while getting ready. The bride comments, “I was feeling like I was on a cloud, so excited to become David’s wife and be his lifelong partner. This elation didn’t allow me to fully relax and chill until a couple of days after the wedding. We both cried at the beginning of the ceremony. Seeing each other when the screens were pulled back made it wonderful to see David there and gave me confidence. Il Mondo is the song they walk down the aisle to in About Time, our favourite movie, and ever since David and I first watched this, I knew I would want to do the same if we got married. It’s such a wonderful piece of music with a brilliant crescendo. My son and I danced to it at the beginning of the aisle when the screens were pulled back, and then we threw our arms out to the side. It was fun, made people laugh, and helped me relax. Our first dance was also a song from the movie called The Luckiest, and we have loved this for such a long time. It makes us both cry, as it means so much to us. My main moment was becoming David’s wife; it feels so special and a privilege.” Turning around at the top of the aisle, the couple looked at all their friends and family gathered there to celebrate their marriage. It made them feel truly loved. For some guests, it was the first time they had met each other, and seeing their two families come together created such a warm vibe. The speeches were beautiful and full of love, meaning, and memories. During the dancing, everyone came back onto the dancefloor at the end of the evening with different people dancing in the middle doing a little solo-type jig—David did one, and just seeing him dance and be so happy with all his family around him was amazing for the bride. They ended the evening going under a tunnel of everyone’s arms and hugging guests—it was magical! The suppliers went above and beyond to ensure the couple received the perfect day. The bride comments, “Stephen Simmons, the entertainer, was just amazing, and I would definitely recommend him to anyone. Noni and all the staff from the Clock Barn were just amazing and did everything they could to make the day go through without any hitches. Everything was so smooth and organised. Charlotte Atherton captured fabulous photos while being unobtrusive yet getting everything we asked for. My friend Vanessa, despite many family upsets, recently took hours doing my hair, along with three practice sessions beforehand. All of the suppliers were wonderful and played their part without any hiccups. Of course, the wedding party was amazing as we couldn’t have done it without them, but especially Ria, who has been my right-hand woman for the past year and putting up with nonstop wedding talk, planning and organising.” HONEYMOON The couple spent two weeks in Bali, with a 30-hour layover in Singapore. They organised the entire trip, and it turned out to be an incredible experience. The Balinese people were super kind, cheerful, and welcoming. They felt completely safe throughout their stay, and the scenery was breathtaking. For the first week, they stayed in a jungle room with a private infinity pool overlooking the lush greenery that was absolutely gorgeous! In the second week, they moved to a villa near the beach in a lovely complex. They enjoyed a cooking class, explored rice terraces, tried a swing over the terraces, participated in coffee and tea tastings, and watched a traditional Balinese dance. The cooking class was fantastic; they prepared nine Balinese dishes they plan to recreate at home. It was wonderful for them to relax together without any wedding planning stress. 36
