Your Hampshire and Dorset Wedding - November/December 2024 (Issue 107)

Jack decided he wanted to wear something different from his groomsman and went for a mauve-coloured suit paired with an orange tie. The groomsman wore a tan suits from Next, paired with the same orange tie and brown shoes, which they all chose to suit their personalities. Seeing myself on the day for the first time was magical. I loved having my best friends and mum help with the jewellery, the veil and the buttons on my dress. We thought our menu would be limited due to allergies, but Merlin’s Catering catered to all. We went for a chilled barbecue vibe to fit a summer party feel. I selected a stunning ivory A-line gown named Marlowe from the Blue by Enzoani collection, which I found at Chameleon Bride in Bournemouth. This dress beautifully reflected my ballet background as someone who has been dancing since I was two. It was adorned with sparkles, pearls and floral appliqués, featuring a glittery coral lining. I also picked up a lovely leaf motif headband and belt to complete the look. Simply Flower kitted the marquee with paper lanterns, which covered the whole ceiling – it felt very whimsical. We chose to use classic numbers for the table names, which was a lovely idea since some family members decided to keep them as souvenirs. REAL WEDDINGS 41
