Some guests even hesitated to leave – it was the ideal conclusion to a flawless day. “We had placed our wedding favours on the tables the night before the wedding. During an early morning walk through the tipis, before my bridesmaids arrived, I discovered a group of ants attempting to reach the Limoncello shots! So, I spent about 45 minutes battling the ants and cleaning the mini bottles on my wedding day, not quite how I had imagined it! “After exiting the church, the heat caused all the confetti to stick to my dress. It was so uncomfortable that I had to rush home and strip down with my maid-of-honour to remove all the confetti. It was the only moment of the day where I felt a bit like a ‘bridezilla’ – I was hot and bothered! “Everything fell into place on the day just as I had envisioned. Having Tiana, our wedding coordinator, manage all the schedules and suppliers throughout the day allowed me to be present and relaxed truly. I highly recommend having someone like her on your special day!” HONEYMOON The newlyweds immediately headed to St Ives in Cornwall on the Monday after their wedding, staying at The Harbour Hotel. Although it was a short four-night stay, it was an absolutely delightful trip. They spent their time basking in the sun and fondly recalling the wonderful memories from their wedding weekend. Emma mentioned, “The best part was when we dined at The Ugly Butterfly in Carbis Bay. The seven-course tasting menu was simply amazing – I can’t recommend it enough!” 48
