supplier, Ginger Catering, to provide all the food for the day. Following the church ceremony, the couple treated guests to a two-hour canapé and drinks reception. Loved ones indulged in four canapes: confit duck hashbrowns, arancini, mini pork tacos and a goat’s cheese and beetroot sable. During the wedding breakfast, the team offered a variety of fresh bread with olive oil, balsamic, olive tapenade and pestos for guests to enjoy while listening to speeches. The main courses included individual nduja and beef lasagnas or a cheese and spinach version for vegetarians. A mixed heritage tomato and mozzarella salad as well as a sweet potato, pickled red onion and tenderstem broccoli option accompanied these dishes. To finish off the meal, guests were treated to a delicious strawberry and white chocolate cheesecake. As an evening treat, the couple had a simple two-tiered lemon cake with semi-naked icing and flowers for decoration, along with cupcakes. LOOKING THE PART The bride chose the Ellington gown from Jane Hill Bridal for her wedding. It was the first dress she tried on while shopping with her mom, who was overwhelmed with emotion seeing her daughter in a wedding dress for the first time. Emma said, “I tried on many other styles and shapes that day, but we always compared them to the Ellington – it was the one! I made a spontaneous decision right then and there. I wanted a timeless dress, and a square neck usually suits my body shape. I was slightly worried about how snug it was, but the dress had some stretch, making it incredibly comfortable. I truly felt like a bride, especially when I wore my full-length custom veil – I felt absolutely incredible.” “On the big day, I felt amazing! Having my hair, make-up, flowers, accessories and dress all together made me feel like a princess. I had doubts leading up to the wedding that I should have explored more dress options, but once I was ready on the day, I couldn’t have felt more special and confident!” Lewis wore a tailored black suit with a bow tie. His six groomsmen also wore similar suits with matching bow ties, while the bridesmaids wore high-neck midi dresses in a pale sage colour from Oasiswith matching gold strappy heels. All the bridesmaids mentioned how comfortable they felt on the day, which Emma wanted! She also hoped they would wear the dresses again in the future. TIME TO CELEBRATE The couple’s wedding day was truly a celebration of music and entertainment. There was never a dull moment, from the intimate acoustic performance during the drinks reception to the high-energy DJ set that got everyone on their feet. The transition to The Ramblers’ live performances was seamless, with the band captivating the audience with their versatile sound. The dancefloor was a sea of joy and laughter, with guests of all ages coming together to celebrate the love and happiness of the newlyweds. The photographer captured every moment of the lively party, ensuring that the memories of this unforgettable day would last a lifetime. MEMORABLE MOMENTS Emma and Lewis were absolutely over the moon! It was undeniably the most wonderful, unforgettable day of their lives. Everything went perfectly beyond their wildest dreams. Emma shared, “The most memorable moments for me were the morning preparations and arriving at the church. I was nervous and excited, eager to kick off the celebrations! The drinks reception brought a sense of relief as the weather was beautiful, everyone was enjoying themselves and it was exactly as I had envisioned. I felt pure happiness and contentment! “The highlight of the day for both of us was the band. Everyone had a REAL WEDDINGS 47
