Walking over the bridge before stopping just the two of us while our photographer captured the moment was a real highlight. The bridesmaids wore dusty blue chiffon dresses with their choice of shoes. We both felt like time was rushing by on the day! My grandfather’s speech made the day extra special. Due to a long-term degenerative illness, he couldn’t make the journey to be present but sent my brother (the best man) with his speech and detailed instructions on how it was to be read. He also requested we make sure the ceremony and speech were filmed so he could watch it back. The bride wore a floor-length dress in ivory with satin under layers and added lace shoulders for a more classic look. She accessorised with floral jewellery and Rainbow Club shoes. We used the house DJ at Essendon Country Club to keep guests entertained. The company was a big hit with guests. 44
