Our friend who is a tree surgeon gave us logs, which we used for the centrepieces with glass jars and flowers on top. To match our spring colour scheme, we had tulips, roses, daffodils, gerberas and carnations flowers – anything brightly coloured. We loved the beautiful stained-glass windows and period features in the ceremony room, and the blank canvas reception space, which allowed us to decorate everything exactly how we wanted. Our goal was to create a day that reflected our per sonalities, brought joy to our guests and didn’t bankrupt us! We liked Ware Priory as everything could take place in one setting, which is exactly what we were looking for. REAL WEDDINGS 33
