REAL WEDDINGS 31 To complete her look, Jade accessorised with Ivory & Co. Maple Blossom Freshwater Pearl and Crystal Hair Vine in gold, along with solid gold small pearl drop hoop earrings and a matching necklace from Lily & Roo. These accessories complemented her dress beautifully, adding just the right touch of detail without overshadowing its beauty. They also fit seamlessly with the wedding’s theme of timeless elegance, and Jade loved that she could wear the jewellery for years to come. When the bride saw herself in the gown, with her hair and make-up perfectly done, she felt like the best version of herself. James wore a custom three-piece suit in royal blue, a brighter shade than those worn by the best men and groomsmen, ensuring he stood out. The jacket had a fun peacock pattern lining, adding a unique flair and inside, their names and wedding date were embroidered for a personal touch. His tie and pocket square matched the bridesmaids’ copper rose dresses, and he finished off his look with classic Cartier cufflinks. A special touch was the locket James kept inside his jacket, containing photos of his maternal and paternal grandparents on their wedding days. The maid-of-honour, bridesmaids and flowergirl wore full-length multiway dresses. The versatile designs allowed each girl to style her dress uniquely, catering to her taste. They all adorned their hair with dainty gold pins featuring pearl and leaf details. The best men, groomsmen and pageboy complemented the bridal party in classic three-piece tailored suits in navy blue, styled with ties and pocket squares. It was a day filled with love, elegance, and unforgettable moments, weaving together the beauty of each outfit with the joy of the occasion. TIME TO CELEBRATE Garden games were available throughout the day for guests to play, including giant Connect 4, croquet and a foosball table, to encourage guests to use the beautiful courtyard and enjoy the scenery overlooking the golf course. In the evening, the pair had a photo booth that created hours of fun for guests, with everyone donning different accessories, wigs and signs to capture fun and silly poses. They then used these photos to write messages in the guest book, which created a lovely keepsake for the couple to cherish. The newlyweds love that when they visit friends and family now, they have printouts from the photo booth on display in their homes, a perfect reminder of the lovely memories shared from the day. The ice cream cart and gin bar were big hits! MEMORABLE MOMENTS The couple felt anxious the morning of the wedding. But as soon as they saw each other, they instantly relaxed and were smiling from ear to ear the entire day. It really was the best day of their lives! The bride comments, “The part o that stood out most for us was seeing each other for the first time. It felt like we were the only people in the room and our eyes locked the whole time that I was walking down the aisle. “Throughout the day we took moments to look out across the room and enjoy seeing our guests smiling and having fun together. This warmed our hearts and is such a vivid memory from the day. “The speeches from the two Best Men were the funniest part of the day and had us all crying with laughter. Unfortunately, most of the jokes made cannot be repeated here! But the boys also managed to find a perfect balance for heartfelt sentiment.” A moment that made the day extra special for the lovebirds was being driven in a golf buggy to the first tee of the golf course. They were given access to the course after hours, which gave them an unforgettable experience alone to enjoy the views. The photographer and videographer captured stunning natural shots, many taken from afar, which allowed them some privacy.
