The table names were taken from some of our favourite animals, including owls, otters, narwhals, and newts. These were hand-painted onto our table plan and table signs by Emma. Our photographer managed to capture the bright and colourful feel of the day. The photos of the ceilidh in particular show the energy and excitement of the evening. We had a petting zoo, treasure hunt, and garden games during the drinks reception, which gave a lovely village fete feel to the reception. We made the treasure hunt ourselves and had an incredible petting zoo from Norfolk, we hired the garden games from our local library of things. Emma enjoyed the petting zoo! She has always loved animals, so the opportunity to cuddle a guinea pig and stroke a pony was just the thing to make the day extra special. Our wedding was an excuse to do a million different craft projects! I wore a dark blue tweed suit with a herringbone pattern and bright flowery lining, and a contrasting light blue waistcoat tailor-made by Trotter and Dean. I had a flower bowtie, an Akubra hat from New Zealand and odd socks decorated with owls and space cows. REAL WEDDINGS 41
