Once we have an idea, we may do a little getaway in the UK as money is tight and travel insurance will be costly. We had a signed T-shirt from Harry Kane that was sent to Paddy as a get-well message, which I got him to open during our speeches, and he was absolutely blown away – it was so special! The groom and his best man Connor read beautiful speeches alongside my dad; they all went above and beyond but Paddy’s stood out the most. He doesn’t like public speaking, but everyone was mesmerised at every word – I was so proud of him. Walking down the aisle and the first dance stood out the most; it felt like no one else was in the room, and we were fixated on each other. Although we were nervous and had the giggles, it was beautiful. 38
