We fell in love with The Conservatory at Offley Place! The two separate lounges allowed our guests to enjoy with roaring fires, which was perfect for our winter wedding. We had to push our wedding back four times; three times due to Covid and once due to our baby boy being due the month before! We officially got married in May 2021but our goal was always to celebrate with all our guests in attendance – this took place in December 2022. We allowed our guests to choose between five spirit shots for favours while sweets were given to the non-drinkers and kids. My original bridesmaids’ dresses were blush with short sleeves for our spring wedding, so I decided to change these to green and red to match the season. Two of our best friends ‘officiated’ our ceremony! I’ve known one of my bridesmaids and her husband for 20 years and 10 years respectively. The ceremony was short but thoughtful, and it was lovely to have people who have known us for so long talk about our life together. We had tall floral arrangements and two smaller urns for our centrepieces, exactly how I envisioned. We wanted to ensure our guests could still see and talk to people across the table. 42
