The magnificent Grade I listed mansion is set on 300 acres of stunning parkland. With stunning 17th-century architecture, bespoke menus, and various room sizes, the setting offers a one-of-a-kind venue, creating a magical setting to get married in style. The team of event coordinators will be with pairs from start to finish, making the experience seamless and stress-free. On the day, the dedicated house managers will be on hand to help with any last-minute changes. The experienced toastmaster can ensure weddings move on schedule so pairs don’t have to worry. The Manor Suite provides an exclusive suite with perfect lighting and ample space for the bridal party to relax and get ready in the hours leading up to the big event. A private dressing room with an array of mirrors allows the dress to be viewed from all angles. The venue’s suppliers can cater for wedding breakfasts with 132 people and 150 evening guests. The recently refurbished Main Dining Room feels stunningly regal and was designed by Robert Adam in a neo-classical style for wedding breakfasts with 104 guests on round tables or 132 on long tables. The ceiling art was the work of Giovanni Battista Cipriani during the 18th-century and provided a wondrous sight as the room stretched across the full depth of the house. The Main Hall provides a spectacular venue for drinks, receptions and dancing for 120 people. Bespoke paintings cover the walls and ceilings alongside the most intricate sculptures usually seen in museums worldwide. The inbuilt dancefloor and easy access to the event bar make the perfect place to celebrate the new marriage as the sun sets. With its tube stop, mainline train station just a minute’s drive away and a new local hotel built within walking distance, Moor Park is the perfect venue for all guests, no matter their starting point. www.nkimaphotography.com BHAKTIVEDANTA MANOR 01923 851 000 | www.krishnatemple.com The Haveli in Sanskrit means a place of gathering. Two grand halls are connected by an internal foyer that houses a small bakery that produces freshly homemade vegetarian cakes and snacks. The beauty of the halls is the unique ability to create magical events, whether large or small. On a larger scale, the venue can accommodate up to 350 people or partition the halls for intimate offerings with up to 50 guests. The main space (Kirtan Hall) has a stage ready to be transformed into dream weddings like a palace with state-of-the-art audio and visual technology. The large windows allows for plenty of natural light and stunning views of the grounds. The wedding hall is painted a soft cream with a single delicate gold flower motif on the walls around the stage. On either side of the stage are couples’ dressing rooms. Both are fully furnished with a fulllength mirror, storage cupboards, a plush velvet sofa, chairs and a kettle to allow the lovebirds to relax and be ready for their special moment. Situated in front of the mock Tudor property purchased by George Harrison, a beloved Beatles group member, the building contrasts old and new with oak beams as an integral part of the design. The venue has a meditation garden at the front of the building, an outdoor central courtyard with trees, seasonal planting and hanging lights. A tree-lined walkway leads to the large sliding doors that open into the foyer, creating a grand entrance. The picturesque gardens have beautiful features perfect for taking those all-important photos, like a rose-covered pagoda, a Gothic-style fountain, a large still lake and a boathouse. The manicured and flowerfilled grounds are tranquil. A family of geese who call the lake home wander around peacefully. Surrounding the property is a cow protection working oxen farm, and Hindu temple housed within George Harrison’s old manor home. https://photovideoguru.co.uk https://photovideoguru.co.uk 23 LOCAL VENUES
