Bonnie and Nick first met in 2012. “We had similar friendship circles so our paths crossed regularly on nights out,” Bonnie tells us. “We were friends to begin with although Nick now informs me that he had always fancied me but had never had the nerve to act upon it! As time went by, we didn’t see each other for years. Fast forward to 2020, just before the lockdown, I started going to the gym that Nick owns in Devizes. We were both single and started to message one another, which quickly blossomed into something much more.” Nick proposed during a romantic night away that he had planned. “We stayed in a lovely chalet with a hot tub in Glastonbury,” Bonnie tells us. “I still chuckle when I think back to my friend asking me whether I thought he would propose and my response being ‘no’.
