Our favourite images of the day came at sunset - we had some amazing couple shots taken in the fields of the farm. It was our group shots with our bridal party against colourful smoke bombs that will be a memory of the day for years to come. We had garden games set up on the lawns including limbo, skittles and croquet. During the evening, we had a live band called Truly Medley Deeply who perform medleys and sounded fantastic! The male bridal party had similar jackets and waistcoats to Matt’s in a bright blue check. We have seen them wear them again at events since the wedding so we think they were a hit! They each wore a red or white rose buttonhole to indicate which side of the Pennines they came from! Matt had a custom-made jacket and waistcoat so he was able to choose the details including how many pockets and buttons he had and what colour the li ning was. He wanted to wear something rustic-inspired and chose the same tie, trousers and shirt as the rest of the groomsmen. We chose pink and gold styles decorated with sequins. “The Lazy Pig created a paella station for a bridal party welcome dinner the night before the wedding, pizza for the evening reception and a delicious barbecue to help the hangovers the following day!We were so pleased that we had a wedding weekend because the day goes by so quickly.” - Gemma and Matt Entertainment was important to us and because we got married just over a month after the pandemic restrictions had lifted so we wanted to make sure that everyone had an amazing time. We hired a magician to entertain our guests during our al fresco drinks reception who was such a hit! 36
