We flew to Helsinki for 24 hours and then to Rovaniemi, where we stayed in a glass-topped igloo in the Apukka Resort. Riding through the snowy forest with the huskies, seeing the most incredible sunrises and spotting the northern lights from the plane window on the flight home were moments to treasure. Ending with Dancing on the Ceiling in homage to Marks’s love of Lionel Richie was a special moment. It was lovely having our daughter with us for the day and making memories to last forever. A few moments that stood out included saying our vows, getting the most double rainbow during our couple portraits and the confetti shots. Mark’s ode to his beloved West Ham winning the Europa Conference League in his speech was a funny moment! We had the incredible DJ Coast to Coast for the evening reception to kick off the party in style. He kept the party rocking all night, especially when he brought out a tray of tequila. Mark’s parents had booked the Singing Waiters as a surprise during the wedding breakfast. 36
