The bridesmaids wore different dresses to suit their shapes in varying shades of dark green. Mark wore a dark green jacket with black flock detailing, while the groomsmen wore brick-coloured linen jackets with black skinny trousers, all complementing the autumnal look of the day. We kept the centrepieces simple with candles, disco balls and dried stems in green bottle vases. Mark loves birds, which was incorporated into the table plan design. Rhubarb gin from our own allotment was given to guests as favours. Our goals were to throw out some formal wedding traditions, make it a fun day that everyone will remember, and host a great party. 35 REAL WEDDINGS
