I loved listening to the speeches from my dad, brother-of-the-groom and the best man. Listening to three men who don’t show emotion and very rarely pour out their innermost feelings talk about our relationship was lovely. It was a lovely summer evening; people were outside chatting and mingling for much of the evening. Many people have made new friendships through our wedding, which I love! The bridesmaids wore beautiful blue dresses for my something blue, and had two different styles to ensure everyone felt comfortable. Ollie wore a navy three-piece suit and his buttonhole was slightly different to the groomsmen to stand out. I wore a Millie May Bridal dress with beautiful lace work and a little train. I also added a belt to the dress, embellished with different beads to add a Great Gatsby feel. I accessorised with a pearl-style headband and my mum’s wedding jewellery.
