Emily tells us their beginning, “Alex and I found we had similar values and life goals and constantly discovered our connections to similar places and interests, for example, I have family connections and spent several childhood holidays in Norfolk where Alex grew up and we now live! We also both have an interest in sailing and spending time on the water, we now spend our summers together on Alex’s family boat on the Norfolk Broads.” After they fell in love, Alex popped the question on Christmas Day in 2023 – the couple’s favourite time of year. “It was in front of the tree in our new home together which was very personal to us,” adds Emily. “We then met friends and family at the Reedham Ferry Pub, a tradition on Christmas Day for Alex’s family.” A festive wedding was a must, and the big date was set, 14th December 2024 with both Wymondham Abbey and Kimberley Hall setting the scene.
