Emma and Becky chose The Boat House, Ormesby for their autumnal wedding Images courtesy of JSN Photography MATRIMONY In true modern style, Emma and Becky met on social media platform TikTok. “At the time, we weren’t looking for a relationship but got chatting after Becky commented on my video (which is something she normally wouldn’t do),” recalls Emma. “We exchanged numbers and spoke every day. We realised how much we had in common and knew we had something special. We first met in Norwich and went for a meal and some drinks. As soon as we saw each other the attraction was there, and we just hit it off!” After romance blossomed, Becky proposed to Emma on a romantic three-night stay at Athelington Hall. “It was our one-year anniversary the day before and it was a complete surprise and very romantic,” shares Emma. “The whole living room was covered in rose petals and fairylights. I was blindfolded, when I took it off, she was down on one knee with a beautiful ring.” The big date was set for 31st October, 2024 with The Boat House, Ormesby setting the scene for this autumnal wedding.
