Your East Anglian Wedding - February/March 2025 (Issue 71)

We were so excited on the day. We had officially tied the knot the day before at Bury St Edmunds Registration Office, so we had already completed the legal element, allowing us to enjoy spending time with our loved ones. The food was sublime. We wanted the wedding breakfast to be the star of the show and we knew the head chef, Rob, at The Three Hills could deliver some amazing food. We had many comments from our guests on the day and after saying it was the best wedding breakfast that they had ever had. Our cake was a minimalist Lambeth design created by Just Baked By Sophie. We wanted to create a rustic, fresh and seasonal look for our flowers. We chose bud vases as not to detract from the surroundings and added floral place names. For our table plan, we chose pastel colours and a floral design to tie in with the countryside setting of The Three Hills. The Three Hills is a beautiful setting in the country that’s surrounded by a lovely garden with a newly renovated patio area. We’ve always lived nearby, so the venue was known to us for years before we chose it for our wedding. When it came to choosing a venue, we looked at a number of different locations, but we couldn’t imagine having our wedding anywhere else. 39 REAL WEDDINGS
