For the centrepieces, we chose candelabra dressed with gypsophila and foliage. Vintage Dreams Wedding Car Motor Company provided a vintage Rolls Royce to transport us to the reception venue. Our favours were homemade mixed-berry slow gin with mini cans of lemonade or tonic. Our table plan was made from gin bottles. Each bottle had an unusual name, so we sat guests on the tables that either resembled them or they had connections with. We chose Lavenham Parish Church for our ceremony, as getting married in a church was very important to us. It’s a beautiful venue, and Joseph has connections there as he grew up and worked in Lavenham. Joseph and I wanted a laid-back yet classy wedding. We looked for a venue that resembled us, and we fell instantly in love with Smeetham Hall Barn. The barn and surroundings were beautiful. 46
