Our vicar Judith was wonderful and made the service really special. Originally all the bridesmaids were going to wear the same olive green Sorella Vita dresses, but as two of them were expecting babies, we got them different style lavender ones to fit comfortably. We were both super excited when the day finally came. After postponing it for a year, it almost didn’t hit me that it was actually happening until I arrived at the church. Chrissie did the entire bridal party’s hair and made a fantastic job of it. She was super helpful rounding up the children. I loved my style and it lasted throughout the day and night. I fell in love with my Essence of Australia (D2 752) A-line dress because I wanted something non-tradi tional that was pretty but also modern. It had a beautifu l sweetheart neckline and I had it altered slightly to add s traps. “My amazing natural hand-tied bouquet of seasonal flowers included peonies, veronica, white lisianthus, astilbe, foliage and dried lavender.” “I don’t usually wear make-up so I wanted something light and natural to make me feel special and pretty but to also still look like ‘me’ and Emma, my make-up artist, got it so right!” 32
