Your Devon and Cornwall Wedding - March/April 2025 (Issue 54)

“Our chocolate cake was designed to replicate a tree trunk including our initials.” - Robyn “Our flowers incorporated roses, winter berries, and pheasant feathers along with pinecones following the woodland theme.” - Robyn “My wedding dress was not a style I had previously considered before. Michelle from The Bridal Emporium asked me to try it on and the rest is history. I accessorised it with a pair of ankle boots, a faux fur bolero, jewellery, a pair of lace gloves and my bouquet.” - Robyn “I wore a navy tweed three-piece suit paired with a claret-coloured waistcoat and paisley tie, a pair of stag cufflinks, a custom white shirt and a pair of brown brogue boots. Everything tied in well with our winter woodland theme and the navy tweed kept me warm throughout the day!” - Qusai “We had a personalised neon sign that read ‘Forever Bubble’ referring to how we met during the pandemic and made our own bubble during lockdown” - Qusai and Robyn “My mum went above and beyond from start to finish. She was proactive in organising and coordinating many of the elements of our wedding. On the day itself, my dad was the life and soul of the party. Even when the clock struck midnight, he was still on the dancefloor, and even hosted an after-party cup of tea for us and some guests staying on-site!” - Robyn “The wedding package offered by the venue was almost all inclusive which made the planning less stressful for us.” - Qusai and Robyn 33 REAL WEDDINGS
