into the crowd of guests towards one of our bridesmaids!” The couple chose a timeless monochrome theme to decorate their special day. “We had black candles displayed in glass jars with dinner candle stands, white roses and pampas grass as our centrepieces,” Charlie tells us. “These were complemented by place names in the form of acrylic tags tied with black ribbon and mini shot bottles along with personalised shortbread biscuits as favours because I run a bakery in Bampton so I wanted something related to this.” The couple chose black and white dried flower bouquets and white and yellow roses to remember relatives by who had passed away. “We had candles displayed throughout the venue which looked so romantic,” she tells us. The catering was provided by Mulberry Catering. The menu included canapés, build-your-own burgers and desserts followed by dirty chips and pasties served during the evening. “We also had a Krispy Kreme doughnut stand which was a highlight!” Charlie and Luke say. LOOKING THE PART Charlie chose an elegant sheath dress because the shape worked well for her figure. “Luke wore a grey suit that matched his groomsmen and the young boys in the wedding party,” Charlie tells us. “Our beautiful bridesmaids wore elegant black dresses except for our daughter who wore a white princess-style dress.” TIME TO CELEBRATE Charlie and Luke booked a DJ and a mirror booth to entertain their guests. “Our speeches were also a highlight of the day,” Charlie tells us. “My mum’s speech touched everybody at our wedding breakfast providing a wonderful memory.” “The food served at our wedding was wonderful.” - Luke REAL WEDDINGS 27
