Charlie and Luke met at the yearly Bampton Charter Fair hosted in the village where they live. “Luke asked me out on a date and 12 years later, with two children, we decided to finally tie the knot!” Charlie tells us. Luke proposed just under a year into their relationship. “It was New Year’s Eve, and he asked me to marry him just after the fireworks display in London had taken place which was a wonderful moment,” Charlie tells us. SETTING THE SCENE Charlie has always been attracted to Upton Barn & Walled Garden because she worked there as a waitress when she was younger. “When we decided to get married, the venue had expanded so much over the years, so we definitely wanted to get married there,” she tells us. They held both their ceremony and reception at the venue. “Watching Charlie walk down the aisle in her wedding dress was a memorable moment for me,” Luke tells us. “Seeing Luke’s reaction to me as I walked towards him at the beginning of our ceremony and spending the morning getting ready with my girls were highlights for me,” Charlie explains. “As we were walking back up the aisle for the confetti shot, our videographer’s drone decided to dive “Our wedding transport was our car, an Audi RS3.” - Charlie and Luke 25 REAL WEDDINGS
